After a fire impacted a 30 MW utility-scale solar facility in Idaho, Virtus Renewables Service Group was brought in to deliver full project restoration under an aggressive 60-day schedule—before seasonal weather conditions could restrict access and jeopardize progress. The customer needed a single, qualified partner that could own the entire recovery effort, from engineering through commissioning, while maintaining strict safety and quality controls.

Virtus led the end-to-end restoration by completing the engineering, design, and technical assessment required to define the repair path and return-to-service requirements. In parallel, we sourced and procured materials on a compressed timeline, coordinated logistics, and mobilized field crews to execute repairs efficiently. On site, our teams performed troubleshooting and damage assessment, replaced impacted modules, completed tracker repairs and mechanical remediation, and managed responsible recycling of removed components. Throughout execution, we provided consistent reporting to maintain stakeholder visibility and keep schedule and constraints tightly managed.

The project was successfully restored to operational readiness within the 60-day window. Virtus completed more than 25,000 labor hours with zero safety events, delivering a safe, documented, and disciplined restoration that returned the asset to full functionality and positioned it for reliable ongoing operation.
